Hazel D. Shelton, daughter of James B. and Sarah Shelton, was born May 18, 1897, and died Jan. 2, 1899, aged one year, seven months and fifteen days. Little Hazel was the comfort of the household. It seems one more sunny spot is clouded over for a short time, only to shine more brilliant when the mist has cleared away. Her life was short but complete in all purity.
